Thinking about giving your child a 3D printer this December? Or pruchasing one for yourself? Our December 3D Printer Class is a great way to not only receive a printer, but also the knowledge needed to use it successfully. During this hands-on class, each participant will assemble a 3D printer and take it home at the end of the class. Along the way, we’ll cover how the printer works, how to set it up and operate it, how to find and prepare models for printing, and how to avoid common problems faced by new users. You’ll leave understanding how to use the printer, making it much more likely that this Christmas gift will become a useful tool for creativity, learning, and making rather than something that gets set aside when the first problem occurs.
Note that participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.
Instructor: Greg Barbu assisted by the Schantz Makerspace Team, providing years of 3D printing experience.
