Schantz MakerSpace – June Maker Monday Meeting
Join us for our next Maker Monday meeting on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 PM at the Romich MakerSpace, 13875 Cleveland Road, Creston, Ohio 44217.
We have an exciting program planned for this month's meeting.
Mindy Werstler has recovered and will discuss the Triway Robotics program. Mindy and the Triway Robotics team have provided students with opportunities to develop skills in engineering, programming, problem-solving, and teamwork through competitive robotics. She will share information about the program, the challenges students face, and the successes they have achieved.
We will also be joined by Izy Meshew, who will introduce and demonstrate the recently received Mimaki UV printer. UV printing technology makes it possible to print directly onto a wide variety of materials, opening up exciting possibilities for makers, small businesses, and product developers. Izy will discuss the capabilities of the printer and demonstrate some of the projects that can be created with this new equipment.
Both presentations will provide a look at technologies that are creating new opportunities for learning, creativity, and innovation.
As always, the second half of the meeting will be devoted to questions, troubleshooting, and repairs. If you have taken one of our 3D printer classes or are experiencing problems with a printer, laser engraver, CNC machine, or other maker project, bring it along. Our instructors and experienced members will be available to help diagnose problems and suggest solutions.
We look forward to seeing everyone for an evening of learning, sharing, and hands-on making. New visitors are always welcome.
