May Maker Monday

Join us for our next Maker Monday meeting on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 PM at the Romich MakerSpace, 13875 Cleveland Road, Creston, Ohio 44217.

This month’s featured program will highlight the Triway Robotics program. Our presenter will be Mindy Werstler, joined by several Triway students who participate in the robotics team. They will share information about the program, the projects they have worked on, and the experiences students gain through robotics competitions and hands-on engineering activities.

Robotics programs give students the opportunity to learn problem-solving, teamwork, programming, electronics, fabrication, and mechanical design in a real-world environment. We believe this presentation will be especially interesting to anyone interested in technology education, mentoring students, or learning more about robotics and engineering projects.

The students will also discuss some of the challenges involved in designing and building competition robots, and we expect they will have examples, stories, and demonstrations to share with the group.

As always, the second half of the meeting will be dedicated to open discussion, troubleshooting, and helping anyone experiencing issues with their 3D printers or maker projects. If you have questions or a machine that needs attention, feel free to bring it along.

We invite everyone to attend for an evening of learning, inspiration, and conversation with fellow makers.
